Skae:
Thanks to you also for the kind words, I also regret that I never got to meet you personally.

The one thing that I am taking from this article is that anyone that took the time to know Brian personally during his time in Colorado Springs wishes him well and supports his decision, and there is always someone in the crowd that would complain if their ice cream was cold!

Best wishes to Brian. Absolutely nothing wrong with following dreams, and I hope all of his will all come true.

I never had the opportunity to meet you Denny, but the years Brian has spent with the Tigers is appreciated, and I'd like to thank you for your time and support as well.

I'm very glad to read that Brian plans to continue his education and get his degree. Playing on a pro team and continuing his education at the same time won't be easy, but with the support of his friends and family, I'm sure he will succeed.

On behalf of the Connelly family I would like to thank all of the people in Colorado Springs that supported Brian during his college career.

His decision to pass up his senior season with the Tigers was a difficult one, he was offered an opportunity to leave last summer and decided to return and was gald that he did.

When the opportunity was offered again last week, Brian decided that at this time he felt that it was time to chase his dream. He was supported by his family on the decision as long as he promised to get his degree, and he assured us that he would. He has never broken a promise to me in the past and I have no doubt that he will fullfill this one.

Whether or not Brian can make the next jump in hockey is left to be decided, but he has always had a passion for the game and if it is meant to be he will succeed in pro hockey. If not he will need to complete his education and go out and get a job like the other 99.99% of the world.

Lee - thanks for the kind words. I feel fortunate to have met you and the rest of the super fans.

Knowing Brian's father as I do, I know quite well Brian will do just fine in life regardless of a hockey career or not.

My best wishes to you Brian! Lee (CCtig)
