
BOISE — Through the cloud of white smoke, flashing lights and roaring crowd he emerged. History in the making. The first hockey player with Gem State roots to don gloves, blades, Reebok pants and Steelheads white on the Qwest Arena ice surface.
Cody Lampl, who’s journey stretches from Sun Valley youth hockey, to various USHL junior hockey cities, to Colorado Springs, Colo., where he made two NCAA tournament appearances with Division I juggernaut Colorado College, now officially prints Boise across his puck-filled resume.
