The depth of veteran leadership will help Stevens Point Area Senior High absorb the losses of its two leading players from last year — Marc Gruber, a graduate, and Aaron Harstad, who left high school hockey early to play junior hockey in Green Bay.

Gruber and Harstad were the team’s top two scorers, and the latter added a shutdown quality to his play as a defenseman.
