On Tap:    Minnesota State (11-11-2 overall, 5-10-1 WCHA) is scheduled for a pair of Western Collegiate Hockey Association home contests this weekend with the University of Minnesota-Duluth (14-7-1 overall, 10-5-1 WCHA) on the docket.  The Mavericks and the tenth-rated Bulldogs square-off at Verizon Wireless Center (4,832) in downtown Mankato, Friday at 7:37 p.m. and Saturday at 7:07 p.m..

About the MSU-UMD Series:  MSU, which lost twice to UMD earlier this year in a pair of games played in Duluth Oct. 16-17, stands 14-17-4 all-time vs. the Bulldogs. Head coach Troy Jutting owns a career record of 12-15-5 vs. UMD.

Mavericks Most Recently:  Minnesota State stands 11-11-2 overall, 5-10-1 WCHA on the year after dropping both games of a league road series at #5 North Dakota last weekend, losing by the scores of 4-1 and 3-2.

Despite the two losses to UND last weekend, the Mavericks have won eight of their last 12 contests and earned votes in the last three USCHO.com polls.
