CC is now tied with Maine for No. 19. Duluth slipped to a tie for No. 16 with Michigan. Both teams need to win Sunday and the first game of the WCHA Final Five (against either North Dakota or Mankato) to move up into NCAA Tournament contention.
“against either North Dakota or Mankato”- was this post sent back from the future? Because I am pretty sure that nothing has been decided yet. CC doesn’t have a chance – GO DOGS!!!!!
I find the scheduling of the annual banquet rather curious. The banquet is the weekend before the Frozen Four. Was the school saying “we won’t make it to the finals so go ahead and schedule the banquet early”? True we didn’t make it, but that’s not much confidence. Can’t wait until next year…GO TIGERS!

I guess what I wrote was unclear. That referred to both teams, Duluth and CC.

Harry:
It is the off weekend because of Easter so most teams use that weekend to hold their banquets. I htink you may be reading too much into it.
