Any word on the injuries to Dineen and Thorimbert?

  • rich says:

Winkler also. I seen he didn’t get the ice time he usually gets.

Is there a video of Jaden’s goal?

  • Adam says:

KKTV’s website has the game highlights with Jaden’s goal.

Adam and Rich, the official word on Nick Dineen and Josh Thorimbert are upper-body injuries, and they’ll be evaluated early next week, probably on Monday. I saw Dineen after Saturday’s game, and I didn’t notice anything that looked obvious. I did not see Thorimbert after the game. It might be concussions on both, considering how hard they went down, but that’s mere speculation on my part. Owens never said what Scott Winkler’s injury was, and I know he’s kind of limited, but at least he’s able to play. If Dineen and Thorimbert have concussions, they’ll probably both miss the Bemidji State trip, and Eamonn McDermott, Dakota Eveland and Michael Morin aren’t expected to travel to Bemidji either. So that would leave CC with 23 healthy bodies to fill 20 spots in the lineup, meaning everybody who is healthy travels. And that means you’ve got a backup goalie in Courtney Lockwood who has played 16 minutes in his career, and one of those 23 healthy bodies is Ted Behrend, who hasn’t played all season. CC doesn’t need any more injuries, and it certainly can’t afford any more suspensions for fighting.

We need all 3, Nick, Scott and Thorny. It seems the rest are now coming and when CC has a full team look out! We need Winkler on with Jaden and Rylan, I still feel that combo will be hard to stop! William did great with Nick and Kusher so CC should abe to put together 3 great lines together with a super 4th to fill in.
