CC is 16th in USCHO.com poll, out of USA Today poll

Colorado College dropped a place to 16th in the USCHO.com poll, and it fell out of the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll after a weekend split against Nebraska-Omaha.

Both rankings still put Ferris State in the top spot, followed by Boston College, Michigan and Minnesota-Duluth, which hosts the Tigers this weekend coming off a win and a tie at Minnesota State-Mankato. Minnesota ranks fifth in the USA Today poll and sixth in the USCHO.com poll; Denver is ninth in the USCHO.com poll and 10th in the USA Today poll; and North Dakota is 12th in the USA Today poll and 14th in the USCHO.com poll. Like CC, Air Force netted votes in the USA Today poll, as well as the USCHO.com poll.

The Tigers (16-12-2, 13-10-1 Western Collegiate Hockey Association) might get center Tim Hall (head) and left wing Scott Wamsganz (illness) back for their last road trip of the regular season. Out for the remainder of the season are right wing Dakota Eveland (upper body) and left wing Michael Morin (right ankle) but everybody else is healthy, and right wing Scott Winkler should be capable of playing again with a nagging upper-body injury.
